• Scientific Programme

  • Magnetic resonance continues to evolve at an extraordinary pace, driven by innovations in instrumentation, methodology, computation, and applications. EUROMAR-ISMAR 2027 will showcase these developments through a broad and balanced scientific programme spanning the full spectrum of magnetic resonance research.
The conference will bring together scientists from all areas of magnetic resonance, including NMR, EPR, MRI, hyperpolarization, quantum technologies, imaging, instrumentation, and emerging interdisciplinary applications. Particular attention will be devoted to developments that bridge traditional disciplinary boundaries and open new scientific opportunities.

The scientific programme will embrace the diversity of the magnetic resonance community, including:

Through plenary lectures, tutorials, invited presentations, contributed talks, posters, and industrial exhibitions, the conference will provide a unique forum for exchanging ideas, discussing emerging directions, and fostering collaborations across the international magnetic resonance community.

    Conference Format

The scientific programme is expected to include:
    Plenary Lectures
15 plenary lectures delivered by internationally recognized leaders from across the magnetic resonance community. These presentations will highlight major scientific advances, emerging opportunities, and future directions for the field.
    ► Award Lectures
Special lectures delivered by recipients of major international distinctions, including the principal awards of the AMPERE/EUROMAR and ISMAR communities.
    ► Tutorial Lectures
Three tutorial lectures designed to provide in-depth introductions to important areas of magnetic resonance. These sessions will be accessible to a broad audience, from students and early-career researchers to experienced practitioners seeking perspectives outside their primary field of expertise.
    ► Oral Presentations
Approximately 180 oral presentations, including invited lectures and talks selected from submitted abstracts, organized across five parallel scientific tracks.
    ► Poster Sessions
Around 600 poster presentations distributed across several dedicated sessions, providing extensive opportunities for scientific discussion and networking.
    ► Flash Presentations
A series of short oral highlights presented by young scientists to showcase selected posters and stimulate interactions during the poster sessions.

    Exhibition and Industry Programm

A major exhibition area integrated within the conference venue will host instrument manufacturers, technology providers, publishers, and industrial partners. Industry activities will be closely connected with poster sessions, coffee breaks, and networking events to encourage interactions between academia and industry.
